Meet the Team

Erica and Kandace, the women behind Bam Bird Bloom, are trained and certified Mahjong instructors and serve as Ambassadors for The Mahjong Line (TML). We continually enhance our knowledge of Mahjong through TML’s professional development, other classes and personal play.  

Since its founding in 2020, The Mahjong Line (TML) has been at the center of the American Mahjong moment happening across the country. Kate LaGere and Annie O’Grady launched the company with a focus on creating original designs, fostering a community, and stimulating the brain. TML’s suite of products allow mahjong players to create unique experiences with color and design that goes beyond just the game. Since the launch of the company, TML has donated $190,000 towards charities that support women and children in need.

Consider me the spark plug of the group. Like the sound of a tile hitting the rack, I bring lots of energy, momentum, and a "let’s do this" spirit to our team and to Mahjong.

Every game of Mahj needs a lookout and that’s me. Spotting tile patterns, stealing jokers and helping players navigate new skills to ensure they are always soaring.
